Husband KonMari Part I: Day of Reckoning

I have had many requests to repost some of the transformations from my husband's KonMari journey, especially his office komono project. Enjoy this 4 part series!

July 16, 2016

After completing KonMari with his clothes, his books and his paper over this past winter, my husband has finally become inspired to tackle the komono categories related to his home office: electronics, computers, office supplies, office furniture, and all purpose office junk. All which primarily reside in his home office. Story and pictures shared with his blessings!

This is huge! Because of his stash-and-hoard tendency with his old electronics, his home office was slowly reduced to a goat path down the middle of his room.

Over the past week he has purged all the outdated and no longer used electronic goods he has held onto for upwards of twenty years. This week he has donated or e-waste recycled

4 laptops (work/development grade)
2 heavy duty servers
2 home computer towers
3 monitors
3 ergonomic keyboards
16+ external hard drives (lost count)
5 laptop bags
1 netbook
1 netbook tablet
1 Dell XPS laptop
2 motherboards (new in box)
1 external zip drive
1 chess computer
1 Nook ereader
1 Cassette & FM/AM Radio Walkman Player
1 Sport FM/AM Walkman Radio
1 VCR
100+ cds and dvds
Countless cords, several old cell phones, multiple internal hard drives, netcards, dongles, modems, wires galore, and software install dvds

In return he found $11.27 in US coins, about $47 in Euros and a $5 Starbucks card. And he is "finding" his office again.
